STEP 1: Jesus

JESUS SAVES

To be saved, is to allow God's plan and purpose for your life. Turning from old ways and turning to Jesus, to ask Him for forgiveness from our sins and to give you a new life in Him.

Romans 10:9 says: “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Salvation is God’s free gift to us and we become His children.

It is an acceptance into the family of God and it is an empowerment to live life wholly with the purpose of reflecting God to our world.

If you are not sure whether you are right with God or you know in fact that you need Jesus in your life, you can choose to follow Him right now by praying a prayer of surrender to Jesus.

Dear Jesus, I’m praying this prayer because I know that I have done wrong by living without You. I am sorry and I trust that You will forgive me. I accept Your love and grace for me and ask that You would be my Lord. Help me believe in You and love You every day, and help me to show the world what You are like and how great Your love is.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Congratulations! To pray these words with a surrendered heart to Jesus is the beginning of the most important voyage you will ever embark on, the journey to follow Jesus.

JESUS IS

Peter confesses Jesus as “the Messiah, the Son of the Living God” (Matthew 16:16).  Throughout the bible prophets spoke about Jesus as the Savior, Christ, Messiah, Deliverer, Lamb of God, Son of God.  Jesus was spoken about over 33 times in the bible hundreds of years before his life on earth, and Jesus came to earth fulfilling every one of them!  The Bible also calls Jesus “Immanuel”, God with us.

JESUS CARES

Jesus cares!  We disqualify ourselves from God’s love because of our past, sin and failures.  Sin has separated us from God and we can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works.

So how can we accept what we have not earned? The Bible says that nothing in all of creation can separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And to accept God’s love is to trust His patient, forgiving and gracious stance towards us. Only He has the power to free us from guilt, shame and condemnation, to give us a life of wholeness. All we have to do is turn to Him and follow Him.  Jesus makes everything better and new!

STEP 2: Baptism

WATER BAPTISM is a biblical requirement for all teens and adults who confess Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.  Baptism is a public confession that you have made Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.  Baptism will make you feel clean from sin and your past, and refreshed for the new you!

BAPTISM OF HOLY SPIRIT equips you to live a powerful life in Christ, to walk in your gifting and to serve others.  Holy Spirit Baptism is the promise of the Father, gift of Jesus and poured out to Jesus' followers and apostles on the day of Pentecost.  When cities were being saved outside of Jerusalem, Peter and John would go to visit the new converts to pray that they would receive the Baptism of Holy Spirit.  This is significant for Christian life!

Simply ask Pastor and you will be baptized asap!

STEP 3: TELL

Biblically we are all called to TESTIFY (tell others what God has done for you), INVITE (invite others to church) and SERVE (Jesus said if you want to be great in the Kingdom, serve one another).  Don't keep Jesus a secret!  Invite everyone to church to receive the gift you received and serve one another.  It will be a blessing to you!
